This summer, Van Cleef & Arpels is once again collaborating with French artist Arthur Hoffner to create vibrant and colorful installations and pop-ups, celebrating the joyful spirit of the Perlée® collection. Since June 5th, the Perlée installation has been open at Hisense Plaza in Qingdao and will remain at this location until July 6th, before traveling to Fuzhou, Xi’an, Ningbo, Beijing, and Shanghai. It blends playful creativity with the coastal city’s dynamic elegance, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a joyful realm and discover the beauty of golden beads. In the future, the Perlée pop-ups will continue to travel around various cities, bringing the Maison’s radiant ode to golden beads. 

Collaborating with Van Cleef & Arpels since 2018, Arthur Hoffner creates scenes through stylized geometric installations, bringing a contemporary flair of creativity and energy. Fluid forms and joyful colors complement each other, accentuating the shimmering brilliance of golden beads and radiating refreshing visual energy and a vibrant spirit. Graceful curves infuse the space with dynamic vitality, as golden beads float along the lines, blending circles and lines into a lively rhythm.

The rounded golden beads, adorned with vibrant hues, transform into playful forms that dance and glide effortlessly among whimsical installations such as Ferris Wheel, Hourglass, or Fountain Game. Three interactive installations, “Lucky Collision”, “Playful Labyrinth”, and “Dancing Golden Beads” are seamlessly connected, crafting an exuberant journey. The artist’s imaginative universe resonates harmoniously with the Perlée jewelry creations, sparking an endless sense of joy and delight. 

Stepping into the try-on space, guests are invited to experience the versatile charm and joyful spirit of the Perlée collection, offering the opportunity to explore creative combinations and mix & match. Van Cleef & Arpels also highlights a diverse array of creations, where the contemporary creations are displayed alongside patrimonial pieces, embodying the Maison’s remarkable craftsmanship and heritage.
